1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the Igrix Studios website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Igrix Studios provides creative production services including but not limited to video editing, motion graphics, visual effects, color grading, and brand design. The specific scope, timeline, and deliverables for each project are agreed upon in writing before work commences.
3. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, all deliverables produced by Igrix Studios for a client become the property of that client. Igrix Studios retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio and promotional materials. Clients who require confidentiality over their project must request this in writing before work begins, and we will honour that on a case-by-case basis.
Igrix Studios retains all rights to any pre-existing tools, templates, workflows, or processes used in the creation of deliverables. Project source files, working files, and raw project data remain the property of Igrix Studios and are not included in the final delivery unless explicitly agreed upon and priced separately.
4. Third-Party Music & Copyrighted Material
Some portfolio and showreel content displayed on this website may contain third-party music or audio used under fair use, for demonstration purposes only. Igrix Studios does not claim ownership of any third-party music, sound recordings, or copyrighted material featured in client deliverables or portfolio pieces.
Clients are solely responsible for obtaining appropriate music licences, sync rights, or any other permissions required for the content they commission. Igrix Studios accepts no liability for copyright claims, Content ID matches, or platform penalties arising from the use of unlicensed audio in delivered projects.
If you believe any content displayed on this website infringes your copyright, please contact us at contact@igrix.studio and we will address the matter promptly.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing all required assets, references, briefs, and approvals in a timely manner. This includes footage, logos, fonts, scripts, and any other materials needed to complete the project. Delays caused by late or incomplete submissions from the client do not extend our delivery commitment and do not entitle the client to a refund or compensation.
All project communication must go through agreed channels — email or Discord tickets. Requests made through other platforms, informal messages, or verbal conversations are not considered binding and will not be actioned until confirmed through the agreed channel.
6. Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required before production begins, following the project brief. The remaining 50% is due before final files are released. Both payments will be invoiced separately.
Invoices are due within 7 days of issue. Failure to pay within this window may result in the project being paused or cancelled, with the deposit retained.
All applicable transaction fees and taxes are the responsibility of the client and will be calculated and itemised on the invoice. For international payments processed via PayPal, any fees incurred on the transaction are to be covered by the client on top of the agreed project fee. Additional payment methods may be offered in the future and the same policy will apply.
7. Scope & Additional Fees
The project scope is defined at briefing. Minor adjustments during production are handled at our discretion. However, significant changes to the brief — such as a change in direction, format, length, or additional deliverables — will be treated as additions to the original agreement and priced accordingly before work continues.
Projects requiring expedited delivery will be subject to a rush fee depending on the timeline and current workload. This will be communicated and agreed upon before work begins or continues.
8. Revisions
2 rounds of revisions are included per project. A revision round covers consolidated feedback — please collect all notes before submitting. Additional revision rounds beyond the included 2 are charged at 20% of the total project value per round, or an alternative rate may be agreed upon between both parties prior to the revision commencing.
9. Approval & Sign-Off
Once a client approves a deliverable in writing — via email, Discord, or any agreed communication channel — the project is considered complete and accepted. No further changes are included under the original agreement after sign-off. Igrix Studios is not liable for any issues identified after formal approval has been given.
10. Delivery & File Storage
Final deliverables will be provided in the agreed format upon receipt of full payment. Igrix Studios will store project files for a period of 30 days following delivery, after which they may be deleted. Re-delivery of files after this period is not guaranteed and may incur an additional fee. It is the client's responsibility to back up all received files promptly.
Project source files, raw edits, and working project data are not included in delivery and remain the property of Igrix Studios.
11. Cancellations & Refunds
If a client wishes to cancel a project before work has begun, a full refund of the deposit will be issued minus any transaction fees incurred.
Once production has started, the deposit is non-refundable. If the project is cancelled mid-production by the client, any work completed up to that point may be invoiced at a rate proportional to the agreed project fee.
If Igrix Studios is unable to complete a project due to unforeseen circumstances on our end, the client will be notified promptly and a fair refund will be issued based on the amount of work completed.
Refunds are not issued on the basis of subjective dissatisfaction where the delivered work meets the agreed brief and revision rounds have been used. We are committed to getting the work right within the agreed scope — if something isn't landing, we encourage clients to use their revision rounds before the project is signed off.
12. Exclusivity
Igrix Studios operates as a non-exclusive service provider. We may work with multiple clients simultaneously, including those in similar industries, unless an exclusivity arrangement is specifically requested, agreed upon, and reflected in the project pricing.
13. Limitation of Liability
Igrix Studios provides all services in good faith and accepts no liability for how delivered assets are used by the client once released.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by applicable law (Indian Supreme Court). Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
